This page describes what the site actually does. It is written from the code rather than from a template, so every line below is checkable against the behaviour you can see in the browser’s network tab.

The short version

You can use this site fully without an account, an email address or a signup. Two things are saved: the list of companies you paste back, and the answers you gave the form so it is filled in next time. If you choose to sign in, your email is a third, held to sign you in and to reach you about the site, nothing else. That now includes who you already sell to. It used to be deliberately discarded; it is saved now so you stop retyping it, it is used only to write your prompts, and you can switch it off on your profile page.

What is saved

• The companies you bring back, and the detail attached to them. Until August 2026 this said names only, and that was true when it was written. It is not any more: when your assistant fills in a location, a job title, a named person or a main phone number, those come back with the company and are saved, because a name with no reason and no number beside it is a row you delete. All of it comes from a prompt anyone could run, none of it is bought, and it is what lets the next prompt skip what you have already seen.
• Your form answers. What you haul, what makes you different, which industry you sell to, and company size. Saved so a second visit does not mean retyping them.
• The customers you name, unless you turn that off. Until August 2026 this page said that answer never left your browser, and that was true. It is saved now, because retyping your book of business every visit was the thing people actually hit. Two limits have not moved: it is kept with your own settings and shown back to nobody else, and it never enters the anonymous count of which companies come up most. Those counts come from the lists people paste back, which is a different table this answer cannot reach. The switch is on your profile page, and turning it off deletes what we are holding.
• A random id for this browser. Generated here, not derived from anything about you. It exists so your list can be handed back to you and for no other purpose.
• A restore code, if you ask for one. Eight characters that point at your row, so you can pick the same list up on another browser.
• Your email, only if you sign in. Signing in is optional and everything works without it. When you do, the address is stored to recognise you next time and to reach you about the site, and a sign-in session is kept in one cookie on your browser. Delete your data below and the email, the account and every session go with it.

What is never saved

• Your IP address or your name. And unless you choose to sign in, your email either. Without an account there is nothing here that identifies you as a person, which is also why we could not hand your data to anyone who asked.
• Anything you do in ChatGPT or Claude. The prompt is written here and run in your own account. We never see the conversation or what comes back, unless you choose to paste part of it in.

What the saved lists are used for

Two things. Yours: excluding companies you have already seen, so a second run gives you new ones. And ours: counting how often a company appears across everybody’s lists, so we can see which are in demand. That count is aggregate and carries no device id. It is the closest thing to a business model this free site has.

You can switch the saving off at any time with the Save to my list checkbox next to the paste box. The tool works exactly the same with it off; your list is simply kept in this browser only.

The save link

The link your assistant writes carries your results after a #, and everything after a # is the one part of a web address a browser never sends to a server. So the names, contacts and phone numbers in that link are not in our request logs, not in our host’s request logs, and not in the referrer any onward link would carry. They reach us only when you press save, which is a request you chose to make.

Once the list is saved we take the results back out of your address bar, so they do not sit in your browser history afterwards. Before August 2026 the link carried the same results in the ordinary part of the address, where our host would have logged them; if you used the site then, those log entries age out on our host’s own retention schedule rather than ours.

Analytics and cookies

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and referrers. It sets no cookies and does not follow anyone between sites. The one cookie this site can set is the sign-in session, it exists only if you signed in, and it does nothing but keep you signed in, which is why there is still no cookie banner. Nothing here tracks you.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it. There is no expiry, because a target list is useful precisely because it is long-lived. The button below removes it whenever you want.

Delete everything

This removes the saved lists and the saved answers for this browser, clears what is stored locally, and, if you signed in, deletes your email, the account and every sign-in session with them. It cannot be undone, and if you have given your restore code to another browser, use this there too.
